The Kimball high school show choir, New Dimension, has had a very eventful and action packed spring! On Tuesday, March 21, New Dimension, along with the high school jazz band and various solo performers traveled to Grant for the 2017 SPVA music competition. This year New Dimension was selected as the "Outstanding Show Choir" for the competition which gives them bragging rights as the conference champion show choir for the next year.
New Dimension also traveled to Denver, Colo., on Sunday, March 26, for a bit of patriotic singing. For the second year in a row, New Dimension was selected to perform the Star Spangled Banner at a Denver Nuggets basketball game. Just before tip off, New Dimension performed our national anthem for the 14,608 people in attendance at the game. With their performance, the students represented our school, community, and music program exceptionally well.
