Longhorns open track season at Chadron State indoor

Brady Kilgore clears the bar in the high jump at 5'6" but came up short of a place in the event. The talented young sophomore did place in the 55 meter hurdles where he ran fourth.

Kimball High School opened up the track season at the Chadron State College Indoor meet this past Saturday and had some very respective marks in their first outing according to coach Gene Mohr.

"We took eleven kids to Chadron and for no more practice than we have had, I was very pleased with how our kids performed," Mohr said.

The highlight of the meet for Kimball was a win by Hannah Biesecker in the girl's long jump as she took home the gold medal with her winning leap of 15'11". Considering that this meet was reportedly the largest in the 38 years of its existence, with over 500 athletes...
