KHS Speech heads to State

The Kimball High School speech team competed in the district speech competition last week in North Platte and is sending 10 of 11 students to Kearney, today, Thursday, March 23 for the state competition in seven events.

Nicholas Thomas-Lewis and Desyree Nelson competed in Persuasive speaking at the district meet where Thomas-Lewis earned first place and qualified for the state meet.

Just one student, Tristen Cook, performed in the Informative Speaking event. Cook placed second at districts and will compete in the state meet.
