Weekend of extremes

The ballroom was the place to be last Friday night for a high-cotton, foot-stomping Redneck Gala to benefit the Kimball Event Center. Over 150 people enjoyed the musical talents and time donated by the Dave Stahla band, food prepared by Greg Reinninger and of course, lots of beer. Donations from several businesses were gifted to the event center and in an act of generosity, most of the winners of those raffles, donated the money back to the event center or towards the next event scheduled. The consensus was that fun was had by all and many requested that this become a yearly occurance.
