Kimball crowns two champions at Lingle

A very good day on the mats for the Kimball High wrestling team this past weekend as they had five wrestlers place and brought home two first place medals. The usual two-day tournament was shortened to just one day (Friday) due to a limited amount of entries this year.

Winning championship status were Jordan Cluff at 106 and Eric Escajeda at 285, while Jaden Mohr at 132 and Izaac Glanz at 170 both finished fourth, and Stephen Bateman was fifth at 182.

Cluff was perfect on the day in winning four matches including a pair of first period falls, a major decision and a 17-13 decision. Escajeda...
