Kennedy Lewis, left, and Nicholas Thomas-Lewis, right, were chosen to participate in the NMEA All State Choir.
Leisha Casimiro was chosen to perform in the 2016 NAfME All National Choir as well as the 2016 National FFA Choir.
Leisha Casimiro was selected to participate in the 2016 NAfME All National Choir. This is an extremely high honor as there are only 250 students from the entire country that are selected. On November 10 -13 Leisha traveled to Grapevine, Texas which is a suburb of Dallas to participate in the All National Choir.
National FFA Choir
Leisha Casimiro was selected to participate in the 2016 National FFA Choir which was held in Indianapolis, Indiana. On October 15-22 Leisha traveled to Indianapolis along with 150 other select FFA members to participate in this honor choir.
All State Choir
This year Kennedy Lewis and Nicholas Thomas-Lewis were selected to participate in the NMEA All State Choir. This choir is notoriously difficult to gain entry to and is held up as one of the top All State choirs in the country. On November 16-18 Kennedy and Nicholas traveled to Lincoln to participate in the choir.
WTC Honor Choir
The following students were selected to participate in the 2016 WTC Honor Choir held in Bridgeport.
Nicholas Thomas-Lewis, Arturo Fernandez, Leisha Casimiro, Eric Escajeda, Kennedy Lewis, Alexander Flores, Alex Reader, Ryan Soper, Sebastian Portillo, Kate Reader, Lila Moore, Crystal Pile, Connor Moore and Brady Kilgore.
National Anthem - State Track Performance
Leisha Casimiro, Nicholas Thomas-Lewis, Kennedy Lewis and Ryan Soper are part of a mixed vocal quartet that was selected to perform the National Anthem on the opening day of the 2017 State Track Meet in Omaha.
Please join the Kimball Public Schools music students for the 2017 High School Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 13 at 7 pm and for the Elementary Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 20. The K-1 concert will be at 6 pm and the 2-6 concert will be at 7 pm. Thank you for supporting the Kimball Music Programs!
