Ag Society deserves our support

Friends and Neighbors in Kimball County:

I have worked with the Kimball County Agricultural Society for over twenty years. I have found them to be hard working volunteers who care about the youth of our County and about supporting the future of agriculture. Why do we need to support the Ag Society in their request to get funding outside the Kimball County Commissioners? In my opinion, the first and foremost reason we should support the funding outside of the Commissioners is to allow the Ag Society to continue their operations of providing ag education and training to the youth of our County. How many have participated in 4H, County Fairs or other ag-related programs? How many have had children, grandchildren or great grandchildren participate? Kimball County is a RURAL county. The City of Kimball is a RURAL community. We need to support agriculture and by supporting the funding ballot question for the Kimball County Ag Society, we are supporting agriculture. I encourage you to get out and vote on November 8th and to Vote YES to fund the Kimball County Ag Society.
