Nationally honored runner to compete in Farmer's Day Fun Run


Andrew Knutsen will be out to set a new record as he runs in the Farmer’s Day Fun Run this Saturday.  Andy, with Kimball ties, including his uncle Jerry, and his father Steve, who will also be back in town to help celebrate his Class of 1966 Kimball High reunion, is a runner of National honors.

Andy has been competing in the Xterra Tri-Athlon events where each contestant swims .93 miles, bikes 17.7 miles, and runs 6.2 miles.  In a recent Pan American Championship event in Ogden, Utah, he place 29th overall including the Pro contestants, and was 2nd in his age group of 35-39.  His times...
