2016 "experimental" year for Farmer's Day Mud Volleyball


2016 will be the inaugural year for the Kimball Farmer’s Day Mud Volleyball tournament, on Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Kimball County Fairgrounds.

This year is “experimental” according to event coordinator Regan Hinton, who hopes for at least twenty teams.

Depending on the amount of interest, coordinators may include additional teams, however, just two courts will be made available for the tournament.

Mud pits will be dug several inches into the fairgrounds arena. Currently, Hinton is in the process of finding volleyballs and figuring out how to get the pits dug.
