Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First

Kimball cross country season opener in Gering

The Kimball cross country runners started their season on Friday, Sept. 2 with a 5K run for high school athletes and a 3K for junior high runners.

"For our first meet out we felt that all of our athletes ran really well. It is always good to get the first meet out of the way and it allows the runners to see where they are at and what we need to focus on more in practice," head coach Tiffany Johnson said. "The first meet also sets that bar for them in trying to improve their time each week. We feel that all they have been working hard in practice and pushing each other to work hard."
