Miss Potter Days 2016

Announcing the 2016 Miss Potter Days queen – Miss Trinity Langley.

The Potter Beta Sigma Phi sorority named Trinity Miss Potter Days 2016, following a count of ballots from the community.

Langley was crowned by her predecessor, Brooke Glass, on Thursday, Sept. 1 at the Potter American Legion post. She, along with attendants Audrey Juelfs and Sheighlyn Spaulding, represented there for the first time during the 2016 Potter Days festivities.

These young women will be called on to represent Potter throughout the fall in neighboring town celebrations and parades.

Miss Trinity Hope Lynn Langley, daughter of Justin and Meredith Langley, is a junior at Potter-Dix High School where she is active in volleyball, basketball, track, and the Potter-Dix Letter Club.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching and playing sports and babysitting. Langley plans to attend the University of Wyoming following graduation.

Miss Audrey Michelle Juelfs, daughter of Lane and Donna Juelfs, is also a Potter-Dix junior. Juelfs participates in volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, dance team, band, chorus, swing choir, a capella, One Act Plays, Speech, National Honor Society, Community Involvement, the Potter-Dix Letter Club, and is president of the junior class.

She is also a member of the Hickory Husker Basketball Club team and attends the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney. Her hobbies include crafts, boating, watching and playing sports, listening to music, watching TV, and spending time with friends.

Juelfs works at the Potter Sundry and at the Potter-Dix School during the summer, and volunteers for the Potter Art Loft. In the future, she would like to attend college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln or the University of Nebraska-Kearney for her premed degree.

Miss Sheighlyn Spaulding, daughter Christina Spaulding, is a junior at Potter-Dix High School. Sheighlyn enjoys art, reading, singing, listening to music, attending rodeos, training horses and spending time with her friends. She plans to attend Colorado State University and major in Veterinarian Science following graduation.
