The Eiffel Tower was the tallest structure in the world, marijuana was sold in pharmacies and doctors prescribed heroin, women were not yet guaranteed the right to vote and the population of Las Vegas, Nevada was 30 the year that Maxine James was born – 1916.

This Saturday, Sept. 10, Maxine joins a select group of Kimball citizens, the centenarians, as she celebrates her 100th birthday.

The public is invited to join Maxine's family in celebrating this incredible milestone at the Eagles from 2 to 4 p.m. Let your presence be your gift.
