Longhorn lady golfers improve on previous experience, host Western Trails Conference

Kimball golfer Lila Moore tees off at number 13 at Four Winds Golf Course on Tuesday, Aug. 30, when the Longhorns hosted Western Trails Conference.

Kimball High School's lady golfers began their season on Tuesday, Aug. 23 in Sidney and followed up with a second competition on Thursday in Bayard.

Lila Moore, shot a 66-67=133 at Bayard and teammate Leisha Casimiro shot 85-83=168. Alpine Hickstein of Chadron led the lady golfers at Bayard with a score of 41-38=79 for the day followed by Kenzey Kanno of Mitchell who shot at 46-42=88.
