Lifelong Kimball woman, Marie Janicek, received this week's Yard of the Week.
A bountiful multitude of perennial wildflowers has graced Marie's impeccably manicured yard throughout the summer. Black-eyed Susan, purple coneflower, fiesta daisies, bachelor buttons, columbine, purple flowering catnip, several varieties of coreopsis and other perennials dance happy circles around trees and flank the house. Flowering dogwoods grace the corners at the front of her home while 'Karl Forrester' decorative grasses line the side street in the backyard.
