Ongoing investigation nets one suspect in custody and a recovered vehicle

Kimball Police Captain Andy Bremer completes taking photos of vandalism at the City Park in Kimball. Vandals have used both markers and spray paint to damage public and private property around the community.

One suspect is in custody and the Kimball Police Department continues to investigate recent burglaries and vandalism.

According to Kimball Police Captain Andy Bremer, while the investigation is ongoing, the stolen vehicle was recovered in Colorado and one suspect is in custody in Aurora, Colo., but will be extradited to Nebraska on felony charges.

"We do have some other evidence," Bremer added. "The biggest thing was the vehicle."

Items were missing from both Schadegg Motors as well as Wolf Automotive and damage was done to both properties.
