Kimball celebrates Independence Day

Kimball Volunteer fire fighters spent a few hours on Monday giving youngsters rides through Gotte Park on the fire trucks. Fourth of July firetruck rides are a long-standing tradition in Kimball and are enjoyed by all ages.

Independence Day fun wasn't found only inside city limits, as many gathered at Oliver Reservoir Recreation Area for camping, boating, barbecues and more. Below, Madison Merryfield dives into Oliver Reservoir while friends and family swim.

Lucy Williams teams up with a Grace Moore for one of the games at the Kimball Public Swimming Pool. Youth had to go under water to collect prizes, including soft drinks and coins.
