Gordon James Buckle Jr., loving husband, father, and grandfather, was born on November 16, 1932, to Gordon and Barbara (Shaver) Buckle Sr. in Arkansas City, Kansas. He was raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and upon graduation from Northeast High School, he attended the University of Oklahoma.
