Braylon Miller of Kimball earned his first trip to the Knights of Columbus State Free-throw Tournament after winning his age division in three prior tournaments.
Braylon Miller, son of Chad and Julia Miller of Kimball, competed in the 2016 Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Championships on Saturday, April 2.
Braylon qualified for the State competition by winning his age division at the council level on February 7 and the district level on Feb. 21, both in Kimball. He followed through with a win at the regional level in Alliance on March 13.
This year's state contest was held in Hastings, where girls and boys, aged 9 through 14, from eight regions across the state competed in six divisions.
