The top photo was taken at 9 a.m. in near white out conditions and the bottom photo was taken at 5 p.m. once the storm moved past the area. The storm left many without power for hours and a second winter storm is expected again this coming week.

The National Weather Service issued a second winter storm watch on March 28 for all of southeast Wyoming from Tuesday night through Wednesday afternoon. This, just one week after a spring blizzard blanketed the area in snow and caused long-lasting power outages in Kimball County.
The new advisory cautions that a rain/snow mix will develop first along, and to the west of, the Laramie Range.
The timing of the changeover from rain to snow will be uncertain for all areas east of the Laramie Range depending on the speed with which the cold air will travel.
Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected along with blowing snow with an expected accumulation of five to nine inches.
Winds are expected to reach 30 to 40 miles per hour causing significant drifting and making travel conditions hazardous with reduced visibility.
Power outages are again possible due to the potential for wet, heavy snow combined with the higher winds.
