Kimball Speech Team sees much success

The Kimball High School speech team won the Gering speech competition on Saturday, Jan. 23 with many individual honors. The Kimball High School speech team has begun their competitive season with quite a bit of success, according to coach Jenn Dillinger.

The team's success began with the first meet of the year, in Scottsbluff on Jan. 9, where they won the Class C/D championship.

Individual awards at that event were given to Connor Moore, 6th place in humorous prose, Kiersten Anderson for 5th place in entertainment speaking and Paycen Harroun won 4th place in entertainment speaking.
