Neil Diamond tribute Oct. 22 is first community concert for 2015-16 season

“A Tribute to Neil Diamond” featuring Denny Diamond and his sons, Spenser and Lucas, sometimes referred to as “the jewels,” is the first community concert for the 2015 season.

This tribute band is well known for their fun family show. It features the music of Neil Diamond but will also include a few songs from other performers of that era, like Johnny Cash, Ricky Nelson and Glen Campbell. They will add in a bit of original music, totally creating an interesting and enjoyable show that includes lots of audience interaction, toe-tapping, singing and smiling.

The band will perform on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Harry E McNees auditorium. Denny Diamond and the Jewels’ performance is a nod to a simpler time, a time when lyrics could be understood, and the music had your toe tapping. Denny, Lucas and Spenser deliver good clean fun while mixing in humor and excitement. From soup to nuts, Denny Diamond and the Jewels will leave you with a song in your heart, a smile on your face and a spring in your step.

Admission to the concerts is by membership only. Membership tickets will be sold at the door prior to the concert. A membership ticket will admit you to four concerts during the 2015-2016 concert season. Adult memberships are $35, student memberships are $15 and family memberships are $80.
