Paxton jumps out early, rolls past Coyotes

Paxton scored 32 first quarter points and rolled past Potter-Dix, 62-16, last Friday in Sutherland.

The Tigers (1-2) outscored the Coyotes 32-0 in the first quarter and 12-8 in the second for a 44-8 halftime advantage. Paxton also outscored Potter-Dix 18-8 in the second half.

Kaden Schow rushed for 198 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tigers, while Ryan Fox rushed for 103 yards and a score and was also 4-of-5 passing for 112 yards and three touchdowns.

No statistics were available for Potter-Dix at press time.

The Coyotes (0-3) are back in action Friday when they host Hay Springs (0-3). The Hawks have lost 44-26 at Morrill, 46-8 against Rapid City (S.D.) Christian and 41-36 to Edgemont (S.D.).
