Lady Longhorns keep rolling

Myriah Tyan goes up for the block attempt in a match last week. The Lady Longhorns are 9-1 on the season entering play this week.

The Kimball volleyball team swept its competition last week. The Lady Longhorns rolled to wins last Tuesday against Hemingford and Gordon-Rushville, and then easily dispatched Pine Bluffs last Thursday.

The Lady Longhorns are now 9-1 on the season.

"The varsity team had their best game of the season so far," coach Jeri Ferguson said after Thursday's win over Pine Bluffs. "On offense we served well, passed well and moved the ball around on the attacks. Raelynn Hinton was all over the floor, she hit well and her serving was great.
