Ella Mae Cederburg

Ella Mae Cederburg, 90, of rural Kimball, died at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at First English Lutheran Church in Kimball with Sister Anne Hall officiating. A private inurnment will be held prior to the memorial service.

Friends may stop at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. to sign the register book. The family will be present from 3-4 p.m. to greet friends. The services for Ella Mae have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Ella Mae Cederburg was born in Gering on June 29, 1925, the daughter of Carl and Rose (Johnson) Anderson. She was raised and attended school in Banner County and graduated from the Banner County High School in 1943. She taught at a country school in Banner County for a short time.

Ella Mae was married to Roger Allen Cederburg in Kimball on Sept. 20, 1945. The family lived on the farm south of Kimball for 68 years. She loved her family and sharing time with them was very important to her. She was also very active in her church and her faith was a strong part of her life.

Survivors include her sons, James (Donna) Cederburg of Kimball, Richard (Sherl) Cederburg of Northglenn, Colo., and Robert (April) Cederburg of Broomfield, Colo .; daughters, Karen (Robert) Chelle of Dayton, Ohio, Betty (Cletus Trausch) Kuhlman of Divide, Colo., and Sharon (Nicholas) Brown of Kimball; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Ralph Anderson and Alden Anderson; and granddaughter, Heather Ann Brown.
