Wise competes in regional masters

Kimball's Payton Wise competed in the Regional Masters Drive-Chip-Putt contest this past weekend in Denver and ended up fourth overall in her division. She actually finished 2nd in the long drive for accuracy and distance but had some trouble with her chipping on this day, but had some great putts according to her father, Four Winds Pro, Chad Wise.

It was a family outing for the Wise family as brother Dillon served as caddy for his sister and Mom and Dad provided support. "I am so proud of my little girl as there is so much pressure as you get only 3 attempts at all three categories. Before the competition started, one little girl was crying and Payton walked up, put her arm around her and said let's go, you will do very well. I think the girl was from Texas. That alone made my day," said Chad. There were girls from allover the United States involved and Payton did a great job of representing our state and our community.
