Bushnell VFD donates funds to Halligan

The Bushnell Volunteer Fire Department presented a check to Cody Halligan to help with expenses while Halligan undergoes treatment for cancer. The check was presented to him on Wednesday, Aug. 26. Proceeds were raised at a hog roast/hamburger feed held at the fire hall on Friday, Aug. 21. According to assistant chief Klent Schnell, a total of nearly $9,000 was collected for Halligan and his family.
