Dead Eye Shooters to help with 'Shootout' event

Local 4-H participants with the Dead Eye Shooters club will get the chance to help with the second annual Shootout at the Kimball Korral, a mounted shooting competition to be held Saturday and Sunday at the Kimball County Fairgrounds. The event begins each day at 10 a.m.

Mounted shooters will navigate four timed courses while toting two single action .45 pistols to demonstrate their six-shooter skills, according to a press release from Kimball County tourism director Jo Caskey.

They will follow with a demonstration with a two-stage mounted shotgun match.
