Johnson, Thurin receive High West scholarships

PINE BLUFFS, Wyo. – July 13 – High West Energy has announced the recipients of its 2015 college scholarships. High West Energy’s scholarship award program was created to encourage and assist in the educational pursuits of the co-op’s members and their families.

“These scholarships are one of many ways we strive to demonstrate to the members and local communities that we are always looking out for them,” said Brian Heithoff, CEO/general manager of High West Energy.

For students to be considered, their parents or legal guardians must be current members of the cooperative. An independent panel of judges reviews each application and determines the winners based on GPA, ACT scores, community service and/or work experience, letters of recommendation and an essay.
