The Kimball team Good Times 1 earned a spot in the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas after winning a spot in the event at the Western Nebraska APA 8-Ball Team Championships held last weekend in North Platte. Good Times I from Good Times in Kimball will advance to the American Poolplayers Association's (APA) 8-Ball National Team Championships in Las Vegas after winning one of two available spots offered at the Western Nebraska APA 8-Ball Team Championships held over the weekend at Eagles Club in North Platte.
Team members include Roger Dohse, Stephanie Risk-McElroy, Larry Snyder, Ryan McElroy, Darin Lukassen, Kris O'Brien and Tom O'Brien.
The tournament in North Platte hosted 31 teams from all over Western Nebraska and offered over $17,000 in cash and prizes, including two spots in the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas.
Once at the national championships, teams compete in a field of over 700 teams for a share of more than $550,000 in prize money, including a first place purse of $25,000.
