Dahlgrin has top 10 finishes in 110, 300 meter hurdles at state

Tyson Dahlgrin ended his high school athletic career on a strong note.

The Banner County senior earned points in both hurdles events to place at the state track meet last week in Omaha.

Dahlgrin finished fourth in the 110 meter hurdles in 15.46 seconds, just hundredths of seconds behind winner Jared Hastings of Giltner. Hastings won with a time of 15.19. Dahlgrin was the top seed going into the finals, with a top preliminary time of 15.44.

In the 300 meter hurdles, Dahlgrin took sixth place in 41.83 seconds. Hastings also won the 300 meter hurdles in 40.30 to claim the top spot in both events.

For the Lady Wildcats, MaKenna Dahlgrin finished 13th in the discus with a throw of 101-0. Addie Shaw of North Central won the event with a throw of 118-01.
