Bowling resigns as economic development director

The City of Kimball will soon be seeking a new economic development director as Wilson Bowling resigned. It is not known at press time why he resigned from the position.

According to City Administrator Daniel Ortiz, the city will begin open recruitment and go forward from there.

"We are still in the early stages of coming up with a strategy on how to fill (the position)," Ortiz stated. "We are currently looking at the job description."

Ortiz added that while the particulars are being considered, current administration will move forward with some of the obligations of the open position.
