Norma L. Soule

Norma L. Soule, 84, of Kimball, died at Kimball Health Services on Monday, May 18, 2015.

Friends may call at Cantrell Funeral Home from 1-6 p.m. on Friday, May 22.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be held in Sunset Cemetery in Scottsbluff following the funeral in Kimball.

Memorials have established to Vista Villa. Friends may also visit http://www.cantrellfh.com to view Norma's Tribute Wall and leave condolences for the family. The services for Norma have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.

Norma Louise Soule as born in Kimball on July 2, 1930, the daughter of Alva and Alice (Cross) Rider. She moved at an early age with her family to Bakersfield, Calif. They lived in California for a year before returning to Banner County. She graduated from the Banner County High School in 1948. Norma was married to Billy Soule on July 24, 1949 and the family made their home in Banner County. She loved living on the farm and being a homemaker for her family. She worked outside of the home for a time at the Banner County High School as a library assistant. Norma enjoyed the spring time on the farm and working in the yard. She lived on the farm until moving to Vista Villa in 2011.

She was a volunteer for the American Heart Association, enjoyed having coffee and lunch with her friends and spending time with family, Christmas was her favorite time with her family. She always made a celebration out of the time spent with them.

Survivors include her children, Dave (Margie) Soule of Scottsbluff, Sandy (Mark) Faden of Banner County, and Richard (Maddy) Soule of Banner County; grandchildren, Tracy (Russ) Warner, Amber (Mike) Bailey, Corwin Bunney, Hesten Soule, Dawn (Bill) Fiscus and Hallie Faden; great grandchildren Heidi Burnet, Brett Bailey, Jack Bailey, and Josh Fiscus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and great granddaughter, Jaylyn Burnet.
