The Banner County girls finished fifth and the boys took sixth place at the Cheyenne County Invitational held Friday in Sidney.
The Lady Wildcats had a trio of second place finishes at the meet in addition to some strong performances.
In the throws, MaKenna Dahlgrin led the way with a second and third place finish. She took second in the discus with a throw of 94-10, finishing behind Alexus Rozelle of Potter-Dix, who won the event with a throw of 116-0. Dahlgrin took third in the shot put with a throw of 33-04.
