3 with local ties graduate from Chadron State

Three local students graduated from Chadron State College at the spring commencement exercises held last Saturday.

Dr. Margaret Crouse was the speaker at the graduate ceremony in Memorial Hall at 8 a.m. Crouse is retiring after 36 years on the faculty and in the administration at CSC. John Jacox was the speaker at undergraduate commencement in the Chicoine Center at 10 a.m. He has a distinguished career of more than 30 years in the aerospace industry.

The three students with local ties who graduated were:

Diane Baluska of Kimball graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in education.

Kaitlin Knaub of Kimball graduated with a bachelor of science degree in education.

Brandi Tallmage of Potter graduated with a bachelor of science degree in education.
