Banner County's Tyson Dahlgrin heads around the track at last Friday's meet. He won the 300 meter hurdles and finished second in the 110 meter hurdles.
Tyson Dahlgrin won the 300 meter hurdles and finished second in the 110 meter hurdles to lead Banner County at last Friday's meet at Morrill.
Dahlgrin won the longer hurdles event with a time of 42.30 seconds. He finished second in the 110 meter hurdles in 15.81 seconds, just behind Drew Gilliland of Mitchell, who won the event in 15.04 seconds.
Bryce Olsen took 13th in the shot put with a throw of 38-09.5, and finished 21st in the discus at 102-07.
In running events, Micah Wicker took 18th place in the 100 meter dash at 12.87 seconds, and finished 17th in the 200 meter dash in 26.25 seconds. Kadan Huber took 18th in the 400 meter dash in 1:02.47.
For the Lady Wildcats, MaKenna Dahlgrin led the way with a solid showing in the field events. She finished sixth in the shot put at 33-04, and took seventh in the discus at 86-10. Abby Russell also took ninth place in both events, with a throw of 31-02.5 in the shot put and 83-10 in the discus.
Courtney Knisley finished sixth in the 3200 meter run in 14:13.13 to pace Banner in running events.
Sierra Flores also finished 17th in the 400 meter dash, while Erika Geary took 19th place.
