Anderson wins Bud Light 32 bowling tourney

Paul Anderson rose to the top to win the 2015 Bud Light 32 Tournament. Paul's first 3-game-handicap series of 722 conquered his single opponent in the first round. Another 717 handicap series overcame his second competition. The third round was a two-game series and Paul, again, edged by to win. Round four was a one-game bowl-off and Paul rose to the challenge by bowling 30 pins over his average. In the fifth and final round, an above average game gave Paul the victory and the Bud Light 32 title for the 2014-15 Season.

Kyle Anderson placed second with four out of five wins with a narrow 4-pin win in round four. Kyle's high handicap series was a 709 with high games of 207 and 214. Robert Gardner ranked third with a 201 average for the tournament and several 200 games peaking at 232 and a high handicap series of 737. Fourth place went to Mike Crow who averaged 203 for the tournament with several 200 games (a high of 237).

The Bud Light 32 Tournament is an "unusual" tournament where each bowler competes with one random-drawn bowler. It is a handicap bowl-off that proceeds until one bowler rises to the top. Additional bowlers that made it to round three were: Jeni Gompert, Everett Durheim, Bonnie Howard and James Vrtatko.

Bowlers that lose on the first round, continue to bowl in Division B in the one-on-one format. Jennifer Reinninger placed first in the Division B with high games of 191 and 196. Second place went to Brent Morey with high games of 230 and 205. Dwight Miller, third place, with a 204 tournament average and high games of 236 and 235. Fourth place went to Wayne Pile with a high game of 244 and 219. Other bowlers that made it to Round three in Division B were: Deb Grant, Joe Robinson, Terry Bourlier and Patty Smith.
