Virgil Johnson, above, was the winner of a "goodie basket" in the spot the bus contest held last week during Nebraska Transit Week.
The first-ever week celebrating Nebraska Transit Week in Kimball County was a success, said shuttle coordinator Erika Loy.
The shuttle hosted various activities throughout the week to promote the transit system. More than 50 children participated in a coloring contest. The winners were Akeila Thomas, 2, Emma Novtony, 7, and Hannah Schildhauer, 9.
Eight of the 15 free tickets were found around town Monday, which was scavenger hunt day. Those who won the 10-punch tickets from the drawing were Margaret Rutherford and Janet Mulvihill.
