Several local pool players were recently recognized for winning the Fall Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Pool Leagues.
Winning the Wednesday 8-Ball title was The Wooden Keg from Beer & Loathing in Kimball. Members of the team are: Anthony Kuhns, Jon Howton, Mandi Schindler and Shannon Watts, Dwayne Burton, Cindy Warren, Darcy Feemster and Shalane Hottell.
Top Gun and MVP awards went to Sherri Parshall, Darin Lukassen and Tom O'Brien.
The Thursday 9-Ball title went to The Rejects from Beer & Loathing in Kimball. Members of the team are: Terri Broussard, Mandi Schindler and Pete Baldwin, Roger Krafczik, Robert Johnson, Tim Culek, Darcy Feemster and Robert Lulf.
Top Gun and MVP awards went to Robert Johnson, Tim Culek, Tom O'Brien and Terri Broussard.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA Team Championships to compete for trips to the APA National Team Championships in Las Vegas.
