Main Street Market presents 'Receipts for Cash' checks

Markus Wood, Main Street Market manager, presents a $1,000 check to first grade classes at Mary Lynch Elementary School through the receipts for cash program. Teacher Amy McManigal said the project could not have been completed without the help of her neighbor, Jan Levesque, who took the time to enter all of the receipts in a spreadsheet in order to help the class receive the funds.
Main Street Market presented a $1,000 check to the Friends of the Library and Mary Lynch Elementary School. They each received the funds through the "Receipts for Cash" program, which gives $1,000 for each entity that turns in $100,000 worth of receipts.
