Kimball boys hoops team falls to state-ranked Hemingford

The Kimball boys ran up against a red hot Hemingford ball club this past week and came up on the short end of the stick losing 56-34 to the number 10 C-2 state ranked Bobcats.

The hosting Bobcats jumped out to a 17-3 first quarter lead with Colton Stull's lone trey basket all the points the Horns could muster in that time frame. Kimball scored the first 5 points of the second quarter and closed the gap somewhat but were trailing 35-16 at half time, and 47-23 going into the fourth period.

Enrique Cajero was Kimball's lone player to hit double figure scoring with 10 going 5/7 from the field...
