The Potter-Dix girls basketball team continued its winning ways last week with victories against Leyton and Hay Springs. The Lady Coyotes also dropped a game at Kimball on Jan. 13.
Potter-Dix 51, Leyton 43
A strong second quarter lifted Potter-Dix to a 51-43 win at rival Leyton (4-7) last Friday.
The Lady Coyotes (9-2) led 9-8 after the first quarter and outscored Leyton 19-11 in the second period for a 28-19 halftime lead.
Anna McLaughlin had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead Potter-Dix in the win. Alexus Rozelle also had a strong night with nine points, eight rebounds...
