Lady Coyotes rout Minatare, advance in MAC tourney

Potter-Dix used its swarming defense to create plenty of offensive opportunities on Monday.

The Lady Coyotes (10-2) stormed out to a 13-2 lead and went on to thump visiting Minatare, 57-25, in the first round of the Minuteman Activities Conference tournament. Top-seeded Potter-Dix returns to action in the second round of the tournament Thursday to face Bayard at 3 p.m.

A Savannah Shaw jumper less than a minute into the game started the scoring, and the Lady Coyotes were off and running. After a pair of Anna McLaughlin free throws put Potter-Dix up 4-2, Audrey Jeulfs added the first of many...
