Coyotes roll past South Platte

Noah Nelson goes up for a score on a reverse layup late in Saturday's 70-46 home victory against South Platte. The Coyotes jumped out to a 19-3 first quarter lead en route to the big win.

It was all Potter-Dix from the opening tip.

The Coyotes (3-5) used a hot start from Cameron Purcell to jump out to the early lead and Trace Sharman had the hot hand after that as they stomped South Platte, 70-46, on Saturday. Sharman led the way with 21 points, while Purcell scored 20.

The Potter-Dix defense dominated the Blue Knights (1-7), especially early on, as the home team stormed out to the early lead.
