Turnovers haunted the Banner County girls in a 60-33 home loss on Friday against Leyton.
The Lady Wildcats (1-5) held close early before turnovers proved the difference in the defeat. Banner turned the ball over 41 times, compared to just 17 turnovers for Leyton.
MaKenna Dahlgrin got things going early for Banner, scoring a layup with an assist from Shay White for a 2-0 lead just 47 seconds into the game.
