Strong start lifts Lady Coyotes past Lady Wildcats

Potter-Dix's Audrey Juelfs, right, drives past Banner County's Ashlynne Hanan during Saturday's game in Harrisburg. The Lady Coyotes got of to a strong start to defeat the Lady Wildcats.

Potter-Dix used its strong press and rolled out to an 11-0 first quarter lead en route to a 43-15 win last Saturday at Banner County.

"The press helped us create some turnovers and get some early baskets. We will count on our press all season to ignite our offense," Potter-Dix coach Jeff Einspahr said.

Alexus Rozelle started the scoring with a layup, with an assist to Audrey Juelfs, and Anna McLaughlin added a layup to make it a 4-0 game. The Lady Coyotes (2-0) expanded their lead with a strong spurt by Dawson Sharman. Sharman took Juelfs' pass from the top of the key to underneath the bask...
