Grubbs finishes third to lead Banner County wrestling

Garrett Grubbs took third place to lead the Banner County wrestling team in the Crawford Invitational last Friday. Brandon Blickensderfer also wrestled but lost in the fifth place match.

“We looked good in some areas, and showed a real need for improvement in others. I guess that is to be expected for the first tournament,” coach Bill Gifford said. “I am still looking for some consistency from our wrestlers, and we need to advance a little more on our conditioning.  We were in good positions, but we didn’t always take advantage like we should have.”
