LADY COYOTES FALL IN FINALS: Season ends one game short of state tournament

Potter-Dix's run in the volleyball playoffs came to an end last Thursday in the district finals with a 3-1 loss to host Brady. The Lady Coyotes won their first two playoff games before falling a game short of a state tournament berth.

The Lady Coyotes opened the playoffs Nov. 3 with a 3-1 win against Dundy County-Stratton. They won 25-11, 26-28, 25-11 and 25-23.

Regyn Hicks led the team offensively with 11 kills and nine blocks. Lanie Thies led the team with eight aces and 35 assists, while Audrey Juelfs led the team defensively with 22 digs.
