The season came to an end for the Kimball High Volleyball Team on Monday evening with the Lady Longhorns losing in 3 sets to Bridgeport in the sub-district championship match.
Kimball had defeated Hemingford in first round play in 4 sets by scores of 24-26 25-23 25-19 25-16, while Bridgeport had won their first round pairing over Bayard in five sets by scores of 21-25 25-12 25-11 20-25 15-8. Bridgeport had played the opening match with Bayard in the early 5:15 p.m. match while Kimball played the second and then third matches with little time to recoup from their hard fought win over Heming...
