Wildcats fall in season finale

Turnovers haunted Banner County in its football season finale.

The Wildcats fumbled seven times and lost six of them in a 69-25 loss at Sioux County last Friday.

“We fumbled the ball seven times, lost six of them, and three of those were inside (Sioux County’s) five-yard line! That was a big piece to the game,” coach Heath Johnson said. “Our boys moved the ball, and moved it well. They, at times, brought four guys to shut down our run, we adjusted to that, and still had success throwing and running the ball.  We just gave it away too many times.
