Banner falls in trio of volleyball matches last week

The Banner County volleyball team fell in three matches last week. The Lady Wildcats lost to Leyton and Potter-Dix in the Leyton triangular, and also dropped a road match at Sioux County.

The Lady Wildcats fell 25-15 and 25-9 to host Leyton on Oct. 21. MaKenna Dahlgrin led the team with three kills, while Taylor Evans added two. Evans also had two aces.

Also on Oct. 21, Banner dropped a 25-7 and 25-13 match to Potter-Dix. Evans led the team offensively with two kills and a block, while Dahlgrin had a kill, one block and one ace. Ashlynne Hanan also had one dig.
